1. Warranty Policy

1.1 Standard Warranty Coverage

Companion Intelligence provides a 2-year limited warranty on hardware products, covering:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

  • Failure of core components that result in hardware malfunction

In addition, Companion Intelligence will  provide 3-years of labor to support customers. 

1.2 Shipping Costs for Warranty Service

  • Within the First 1 Year: CI will cover the cost of shipping both ways if a product needs servicing due to a defect. 

  • After 1 Year: Customers must pay for shipping the product to CI for diagnosis. CI will cover the cost of return shipping after repairs are completed.

  • Repair Timelines: Repairs typically require 5 to 15 business days, but each case is unique. Customers will receive an estimated repair timeline after a technician diagnoses the issue. In rare cases, longer lead times may be necessary due to part scarcity or other supply chain issues.

1.3 Data Backup & Responsibility

  • Customers must back up their data before shipping a product for warranty service. CI is not responsible for any data loss resulting from servicing or repair.

  • For data sovereignty purposes, customers should wipe all sensitive data from the product before shipping it to CI. Customers are responsible for ensuring their data security.
